About Golf de Vichy

It was in 1907 that work on the development of the Golf began, in the vast uncultivated land on the banks of the Allier. Joseph Aletti, director of the Société des Grands Hôtels de Vichy, was the instigator of the project to meet the needs of Vichy customers at the time.

The 9-hole course is drawn by Arnaud Massy, famous French champion winner of the British Open, native of the Basque Country and renowned teacher. At the same time, the primitive pavilion was built by the architect Gustave Simon, architect of the Compagnie fermière.

The Golf de Vichy was inaugurated on May 1, 1908.
