"[Hitlerism] applied to Europe colonial procedures which until then had been reserved exclusively for the Arabs of Algeria, the coolies of India, and the blacks of Africa."

-Aimé Césaire, Discourse on Colonialism (1955[1950])

The Helsinki Notebooks invites contributors from the Global South on the local textures of anti-fascist resistance and their connections to global currents of anti-colonialism, anti-imperialism, anti-capitalism, anti-rascism, and women's rights. We welcome essays, reflections, field reports, poetry (up to 800 words), with flexibility where a work warrants it), and creative works (e.g., multimedia, visual art or hybrid forms) by artists, activists, scholars, writers and beyond.

Submission: Email to [email protected] with the subject "Volume 3 Submission".
