"Technology changed the music-scene. Hard copies of CD’s and DVD’s became redundant and record companies and distributors advised artists to destroy all remaining stock. Beekman, however, decided to acknowledge the end of an era by converting the paper-cover of her DVD into visual artworks. After almost four years of dedication and perseverance she opens her studio-door to showcase the inspired artworks born from this unique journey."
