Sibenoxolo Foji is a mixed media artist and researcher mainly working with installation, sculpture, video art, and photography in his latest art practice. Originally from a small town in the Eastern Cape, Foji’s work delves into themes of Identity, Culture, Ritual, and Healing, exploring the complex relationships between people and their natural and manmade environments within the South African context. His art sensitively weaves through narratives of self, restoration, and spirituality, inviting viewers to engage deeply with these interconnected themes which tend to be forgotten or overlooked.
