It’s a familiar feeling: suddenly the year is almost over, and December has arrived in a flash. Whilst the pace might feel disorientating, these quick, shifting months leave their mark. At 99 Loop, we’re leaning into celebrating that sense of movement - the rush of moments, the energy of change, and the small sparks we catch along the way.
Our new group show, 'Blink', takes a second to look both forward and backward as we enter the transitional season between years. Spanning the main gallery spaces, the exhibition brings together works by a range of artists, some returning and some new to 99 Loop. It highlights pieces that distill the immediacy of a moment - images caught in the briefest glance, gestures that register before we are fully aware of them.
'Blink' reminds us that fleeting experiences hold meaning, that what feels all-consuming inone breath becomes memory in the next, without losing its magic. It asks us to pause and look for the glimmers found in passing moments. Ultimately, the group show offers a considered look at the fragments that shape a year: brief, vivid, and quietly enduring.
