Group Exhibition: 'Summer Salon'

ESCAP3 Gallery is delighted to present our Summer Salon Group Exhibition,  02 December 2024 - 31 January 2025, featuring Artists residing in Melkbosstrand.

Participating Artists Include: Lize Beekman, Willem Breedt, Karla Duterloo, Gonzalo Vargas Herrera, Rentia du Plessis & Selina du Toit.

Cohesively, the works on exhibition are a collection of visual accents from Melkbosstrand life, celebrating our immediate surroundings, which includes iconic scenes and landmarks, such as Table Mountain seen from Haakgat, the surrounding nature reserves, swatches of the land and sea scapes that depicts canola fields, scenes of the local beachfront and our picturesque coastline.

A shared mindfulness is also present here, as some of the Artists recreate, and most embrace exploring different mediums during the process of making. The artworks do also together echoe caution and concern with regard to our current pollution crisis, tangible in our local community, which does aim to preserve and conserve our natural assets.
